Pearl.

My reflection shatters the mirror.

A shard of glass in hand,

she jabs and stabs

until she’s pleased

with the shade of red

that’s pooled the floor.

She dives in-

swimming for pleasure,

desperate for the leisure

that she stamped to the word sexy.

She can say it now.

It teases the teeth,

it pushes past

the pillow of her velvet lips

a glimmering clam releases it’s pearl,

and graces the vast ocean

she’s drowned in.
